It was just a couple years ago when I found myself in sudden need of flatbed trailers. I had recently taken my father-in-law up on his offer to work for his car dealership. I had never wished to sell cars and held out for this reason, but finally we agreed that I could go to car auctions and buy used cars for the dealership. Usually, the cars bought at auction are transported back to the dealership by a car carrier, which I what I planned to do for the most part, but I also thought that flatbed trailers could be helpful in taking one car back myself.
The auctions were almost always in Portland or Spokane, cities several hours away from the dealership, and I always drove because it was cheaper. The only part that was a challenge was making certain that any trailer I bought would be durable enough to hauls cars for many years. My hunt took me online and in short order, I found a wonderful website for all kinds of trailers, including dump trailers which looked useful, but were not the kind I was looking for. Aside from those, they did have a sizeable selection of trailers that looked to fit my needs exactly. Not only were the prices amazing, but they had a fantastic video that showed the durable construction of their products.
I wasted no more time and made my way to the store, which was nearby, and got a delightful new trailer, which I hitched to my truck. The next morning meant that I had my first car auction and I excitedly left earlier than I needed to in order to test the trailer. I found that I really enjoyed the job, buying cars and making last minute bids to score good deals.
After the auction, I had the distressing task of selecting the one car that would get the privilege of riding on my new trailer. I had many hours on the road ahead of me, and I wanted to put my trailer to work, so I loaded it up with a heavy SUV so I could maximize my investment. I had guessed that the trailer would make an unpleasant rattling noise as I drove, but in this case I heard nothing. I made my way back to the dealership with no problems or issues and everyone was very pleased that I had saved so much money.
