The Best Fast Cars Of Your Choice

By Adam Vargo

There are different reasons for a car to be as quick as it can be. It is especially the speed which makes it get to top the list of the best fast cars. The reasons could also be a matter of choice.

There are different reasons why you could see it as a speed-driven car. There is its aerodynamics, its horse power, its engine capacity, its spoilers and other elements. The best way to compare these to each other is to have them tested as they run off the production line. That means that it should have no modification whatsoever.

Some of the top production models, in this category, are the Bugatti Veyron, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, the Saleen S7, the Koenigsegg CCX, and the McLaren F1 to name only a few. There is no need to even question the fact that the Bugatti Veyron tops the list.

It is simply because of its styling and its raw power and elegance as a super car, which makes it such a dream car. Its top speed is electronically capped at 253.2 miles per hour. This was a necessary precaution (as it can go faster) because its tires will not be able to take the strain.

You can imagine that it would be extremely heavy on fuel consumption. Because of its incredible speed it needed to be supplied with a hydraulic rear spoiler which gets lowered and raised as the speed varies. One more addition is that this great car, with its sixteen cylinder, V8 engine, is the most expensive car in the world.

Another car which can be highlighted the Koenigsegg CCX. This Swedish built car has been seen as one of the fastest cars in the world, but failed to perform to its reputation as it became very hard to handle at its top speed of approximately 250 mph (400 km/h). It needed to be modified with a rear spoiler to improve its aerodynamics. However, it still remains a super car with its V8 engine and 4700 cc capacity. As with all of these, be sure that you will have to fill her up more often than not.

The SSC Ultimate Aero TT has a maximum speed of 257 mph (with a top speed of 270 mph) and should therefore be at the top of the list. (in terms of speed). It is, in effect, the world's fastest car. The reason it might not be as popular is because of its styling. Most people are interested in speed, sound as well as styling. They want something that is outstanding and exciting to look at and listen to as it speeds around.
