I Found Some Great Motorcycle Trailers To Allow Me To Move My Motorcycle Across The Country

By James O. Muses

When the time came for me to move across the country, I needed a good way to get my beloved motorcycle to my new home along with all my belongings in a way that wouldn't damage it, which meant I needed to look at motorcycle trailers. I had gotten a new job in Seattle, which was a thousand miles from where I had been living. My company was providing a moving service to move my things for me, but because I had a car and a motorcycle to move with me, I thought I could drive my motorcycle and hire an auto transport company, but my neighbor told me that auto transport companies were a hassle.

While I was trying to decide what I should do, my friend told me about motorcycle trailers, and I thought it might be the solution I was looking for. I thought I could probably find a good deal online and I ended up finding a perfect website that was just what I needed. I found a lot of dealerships in my area and it looked like their prices were very reasonable. When I checked out the merchandise, they also had flatbed trailers that I thought would probably be convenient, as they would fit my bike as well as a lot of other furniture.

The website had a video that showed how the structure of these trailers compared to some other brands and it was awfully convincing to me, so I went down to where they had the trailers and checked them out for myself. They were well built with great workmanship, and it was roomy enough that I could get my bike in without too much effort. I was so pleased with them that I made a choice right there to get one.

Before I realized it, it was time to pack up and go. I did hire a moving truck that my friend drove filled with most of my belongings. As for me, I linked my new trailer up to my SUV and packed up my bike. It fit wonderfully and I was actually able to fit in quite a few boxes around it. With this trailer I didn't have to waste a lot of time getting loaded up and could just go.

The trip went really smoothly, but we did run into a big thunderstorm in the Midwest that even had some hail. I was afraid that I would be blown over, or that some of the hail would puncture the shell of my trailer and damage my bike, but my worries were groundless and we made it to my new home safely. I was extremely happy that I bought such a sturdy piece of equipment.
